Software for event decor and wedding rental businesses

A decor rental company sells a look, but it runs on units: this many arches, that many chandeliers, in which city, on which date. The quote goes to a wedding planner who compares it with two others, so what the customer sees has to be signed off before it leaves, and what the warehouse sees has to carry no prices at all.

Edge Decor runs on the system below across Delhi and Mumbai. Each booking knows its stock by city and date, its dispatch and return, what came back needing repair, and what the booking actually made after transport and labour.

Where it usually breaks

01

A booking is confirmed for Delhi, the stock is in Mumbai, and the transport cost that eats the margin is discovered after the event.

02

The quote goes out with last season's rate because the salesperson copied an old file, and the owner finds out when the planner forwards it back.

03

Pieces return chipped, go for repair, and are quoted again the following week as if they were on the shelf.

In production

From Edge Decor ERP. The operations system for Edge Decor, an event furniture and decor rental company in Delhi and Mumbai. Quotations, sign-offs, stock by city and date, challans, returns, invoices, payments, staff, bills and the month's profit in one place. Built in 2026.

A quotation: customer, event, dates, the sign-offs card, the summary with GST, and the item lines with their rate and days

Quotation to booking in one screen

The salesperson picks the customer, the event dates and the items. Each line can carry its own dates, come from either city, and shows what is free there. Items the company does not own are marked outsourced with a vendor and a cost the customer never sees. The quotation becomes the booking in one step, and cannot become two.

The availability board for one city and a date range: units owned, peak booked, free, and the bookings holding them

Stock by city and date

Every item has four counts in each city: in the warehouse, out at an event, in repair, written off. The availability board shows what is free in a city for any dates. One unit can serve back-to-back events but can never be promised twice.

The returns worklist: bookings with goods still out, soonest event end first, with an overdue flag

Dispatch, returns and repairs

Creating a challan is the dispatch: the units leave the warehouse count the moment it is saved. Crews can send spares beyond the order. Returns are graded good, needs repair or damaged in one go, and a repaired item comes back into stock with its repair cost recorded once. Overdue returns are flagged every night.

The job costs card on a booking: supervisor cost, billed value, vendor cost, and the margin on this booking

Margin per booking, profit per city

Each booking carries its own costs: transport, labour, night charges, purchases. Margin is what was billed less the vendor cost and those costs. The month's profit per city is the bookings' margins less salaries and bills. Sales see prices, never margin.

What it costs

Builds of this shape usually start at the Standard package, from ₹8 lakh, paid in stages as each part goes live. Hosting runs on your own accounts and there is no charge per user.
